About Nikhil Goyal

I am an Ophthalmologist with 10 years of experience in this particular field. My educational qualifications are DNB (Ophthalmology), DOMS, MBBS and further to this I have 2 additional fellowships in Ophthalmology. I am proficient in managing patients independently in OPD as well as Surgically and have expertise in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery and Medical Retina. I also secured All India Rank - 1 in PDCET (Ophthalmology) in 2015. I have completed my DOMS from JNMC, KLE University, Belgaum in May, 2015. I have worked for 2 years in the Ophthalmology department at JNMC, Belgaum as a Junior Resident. Following this I worked as a Secondary DNB resident for 2 years at PBMA's H. V. Desai Eye Hospital, Pune. I have had excellent exposure to general ophthalmology practice, cataract, glaucoma, cornea, vitreo-retina, strabismus and paediatric services. I am proficient in refraction services and can perform surgical procedures independently. After this I pursued a Fellowship in Medical Retina. This fellowship helped me improve my diagnostics and patient management in Retinal disorders. Along with this I gained extensive hands on experience in retinal lasers and Intravitreal injections of Anti-VEGF drugs, Steroids and Antibiotics. I followed this with a Fellowship in Advanced Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery. In this fellowship I enhanced my existing experience in Phacoemulsification cataract surgery and became proficient in doing phaco surgeries under local as well as topical anaesthesia. I also performed Phaco surgeries for complicated cases. After completing my fellowships, I joined as Senior Resident in the Department of Ophthalmology at R.N.T. Medical College & MBGH, Udaipur in May, 2018 and worked at the same position for 2 years. Following this I was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at R.N.T. Medical College & MBGH, Udaipur in July, 2020. While working I got the opportunity to serve all the strata of the society and improve patient care. I was also responsible for Postgraduate & Undergraduate teaching and research projects. Following this, I started working as Consultant Ophthalmologist & Eye Surgeon at Goyal Hospital, Udaipur in November, 2021. We provide comprehensive eye care services & specialize in Advanced Phaco Cataract Surgery & Medical Retina Services and strive to provide an elevated service experience to our patients.
