PRESS RELEASE- August 2007 Nikhil has been appointed as Vice President of DS Hotels & Resorts, a wholly owned subsidy of DS Group (Dharampal Satyapal Group). He will spearhead and drive the Group’s foray into hospitality sector. With an extensive experience of 18 years, he has intrinsic knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry. A postgraduate in Hotel Management from the Oberoi School of Hotel Management, Nikhil started his career with the Oberoi group of hotels and rose to the position of Hotel Manager at The Oberoi, Bhubneshwar and EAM - F&B at The Oberoi Grand, Calcutta in a short span of ten years. His endeavor to experience the different facets of service industry took him to GE Capital (now known as Genpact) as Assistant Vice President where he worked for three years. He moved back as Corporate Director Food & Beverage at Intercontinental hotels for three years which was his last assignment before joining DS Group. Nikhil, with his outstanding experience in the hospitality industry, intends to implement the Pan India expansion of the hospitality foray of the Group and take it to greater heights.
