About Nikhil Vashisht

One of my professor once said, “Finance and investments have a lot to do with the Emotional Quotient (EQ) of an investor more than their Intelligence Quotient. So your clients need not know mutual funds or stocks, but they very well should know what patience, persistence, and awareness is.”This is Nikhil Vashisht from Delhi, India now based in Toronto, Canada. I am an Dean’s Honour certified graduate in Financial Planning from Humber College and now I am a student at The George Brown College studying Marketing Management in Financial Services. I am also registered for an IFIC certification. As a curious teen, the world of Finance has always fascinated me and as I grew up, my interest in money and how it works just kept escalating and that brings us to date. While Financial literacy is what many of us aim at, I believe in creating what I call Financial Maturity.
