About Niki Katzi

Background in Earth Observation,Remote Sensing, GIS and Geoinformation Management with a MSc obtained from one of the most prestigious universities in the field, University of Edinburgh.Holder of BSc in Land Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering from the Technological University of Cyprus.Holder of BSc in Civil Engineering from the Frederick University of Cyprus.Earth observation data is a unique source of commensurable information but the earth observation industry does not depend only in providing data; but also providing earth-observation data analytics. It has become imperative for businesses and users alike to understand the scientific, socio-economic and environmental benefits derived from earth observation data analytics. Civil engineering and infrastructure (construction, maintenance and monitoring) are activities which demand high spatiotemporal accuracy, precision and detail of observations and measurements. Remote sensing techniques are now able to produce data and information of a quality which satisfies such requirements. The future of earth observation is bright, let’s build on that!I am seeking for opportunities to grow, explore and evolve.“What’s dangerous is not to evolve.” Jeff Bezos
