About Nikitha Dilip

Hello and welcome to my profile! I am an aspiring therapist and mindfulness movement specialist, currently working on my Master's degree in Counselling Psychology with Webster University in Netherlands. I have gathered some significant certifications and years of work experience in the mental health field with clients ranging from children (4-12 years) to adults over 18. Along with my psychology work, I am a freelance photographer and semi-professional dancer across a range of styles. I am grateful for my growing experiences in the arts field, having been a photographer for various corporate and fashion events, as well as concerts. Dance is my healing space and it is the very reason I believe that movement and abstract expression can be very therapeutic. This passion inspires my goals of becoming a somatic therapist and mindfulness movement practitioner who guides future clients towards building stronger connections between mind and body."Mindfulness not only makes it possible to survey our internal landscape with compassion and curiosity but can also actively steer us in the right direction for self-care."(Bessel Van Der Kolk, The Body Keeps the Score)
