About Nikka Boyle

I'm a third-year student at Northeastern University's College of Arts, Media, and Design, majoring in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. My academic and professional journey has centered around storytelling, digital engagement, and creative strategy, with a special interest in how media can be used for brand awareness. My passion for intercultural communication stems from my own globally rooted upbringing. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, raised in an Armenian-American household, and recently studied abroad in Rome through Northeastern’s NUin program, showing how I strive to communicate across cultures with empathy, curiosity, and intention. Professionally, I’ve developed skills in social media strategy, digital marketing, and storytelling through roles with mission-driven organizations like BRAWS and the Aurora Prize, where I contributed to awareness campaigns and humanitarian research. On campus, I am involved in the Executive Boards of the Northeastern Softball Team and HerCampus, focusing on social media management and outreach. Whether I’m designing graphics, writing articles, or engaging with online communities, I’m driven by a desire to connect people through meaningful content. I’m especially interested in opportunities in social media marketing, brand communications, and digital media where I can bring both creativity and a cross-cultural perspective to the table.
