About Nikki Cannon

With a wealth of strategic and operational experience in the cancer field, my core competencies include strategic and operational leadership, large scale transformation and change, facilitation and problem solving. I am passionate about improving the outcomes and experiences for people affected by cancer through earlier diagnosis and prevention, access to better treatments, enhanced care for those living with and beyond cancer, and improved end of life care. I have worked extensively with the NHS, 3rd Sector, Digital Health and other healthcare providers to implement improvement and large scale change. In previous roles, I led the transformation of personalised care and survivorship at Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Trust, and developed a new cancer workforce engagement framework at Macmillan Cancer Support. I have presented my work on national and international platforms, and acted as a media spokesperson and thought leader in the cancer field.
