Chief Medical Officer, ICAS South Africa Graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1994 and has worked in the fields of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Anaesthetics and HIV/AIDS both in South Africa and the UK. Joined ICAS in 2017 to manage the Absence, Incapacity & Disability, Musculoskeletal, Maternity, and most recently COVID-19 programmes as Chief Medical Officer. Particular fields of interest are female health, chronic pain and in particular its link to mental health and ensuring a multidisciplinary clinical approach to the management of high-risk employees in the workplace according to a “one healthy employee” rationale.
