About Nikki Corless

Growing up, my parents would tell me I have both of their most dominant traits. I inherited my dad's instinct to prepare for the worst and my mum's natural ability to over-plan. Altogether, I am naturally talented in over-planning for the worst. My sense of humour is shaped by my British-Canadian background. I enjoy British comedy but try to temper it with my Canadian upbringing. I am immersed in rugby culture as player, captain, coach and senior team manager and thrive in team environments. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University, I thrived within my role as the Vice President: Programming and Services. I was nominated for and won the Student Member of the Year for the Central region at the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities National Conference. In this role, I proved my determination, big-picture thinking and overall curious nature while creating fun, interactive events to help Laurier earn its place as the top Canadian university for student satisfaction. In the future, I'm excited to be a part of a team that plans some of the best experiences within peoples' lives. Rock on.
