I am a Regional Finance Controller at Arctic Glacier Premium Ice, a leading manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice products in North America. I have a diploma in Business Administration - Major in Accounting from Red River College Polytechnic, and I am a candidate for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, having passed the Common Final Examination (CFE) in May 2023. In my current role, I prepare and review monthly financial statements for each region, identify and analyze financial variances, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. I also assist in the development and implementation of administrative processes that are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's standards. Previously, I worked as an Accounting Manager at Archdiocese of Winnipeg and an Accounting Specialist at Bold Innovation Group Ltd, where I oversaw full accounting operations, supervised teams, prepared and presented budgets, implemented process controls, and worked with various stakeholders on business operations and projects. I have developed strong skills in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, as well as communication, leadership, and collaboration. I am motivated by challenging and dynamic environments, where I can apply my accounting knowledge and skills to support the organization's goals and strategies.
