I have 32 years of experience in the desktop publishing industry, and have particular expertise in educational publishing production. Clients including McGraw-Hill, Pearson and National Geographic have praised my commitment to meeting deadlines, organization skills, attention to detail and work ethic. My reputation for calm and cooperative teamwork while producing high-quality work is exceptional. In my 13 years at Loyola Press, I have done art buying, retouching, color correcting, clipping paths, file prep, and templates. I retouch illustrations in photoshop so corrections remain in-house and are cost effective. I have created videos using Premiere Pro and am expanding my knowledge of After Effects. I kept track of the art budget and negotiated vendor contracts and pricing that reduced project costs. I work with accounting to track image downloads and vendor invoices. I improved the process and organization for art buying procedures. I created procedures for uploading stock and photoshoot assets to our digital asset library. I have created interactive PDFs for both Loyola Press and Pearson. I enjoy whipping chaos into order.
