About Nikki Manderico

Kapwa" is the core value of Sikolohiyang Pilipino (Filipino Psychology), which translates to "community" or "shared identity." It's a value that affects how we see ourselves in relation to others, how we understand people's experiences, and how we decide to respond to events or interactions. I aim to help organizations build "kapwa" through intentional programming that includes education, dialogue, and fun! I volunteer for alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc. and the National APIDA Panhellenic Association. I enjoy working with undergraduates and empowering them to seek and share knowledge within their communities. My research interests include the History of Asian American Greek Letter Organization, Filipino theology and religious practices, and portrayals of religion and culture in horror movies.
