About Nikki Phillips

Hello! I am passionate about all things communication, writing/editing, and teaching. I have been teaching at the College of Southern Maryland for more than 16 years and have taught online for more than 10. I take an audience-centered approach to creating lessons, training sessions, and professional documents. My goal is to help everyone stay engaged and focused. I have found this approach works with people of all ages, backgrounds, and comfort levels. I am a nationally certified corporate trainer with a Masters Degree in Business Communication. I create customized training sessions related to any aspect of the communication field (listening, team building, leadership, conflict management, customer service, etc.) I offer half, full, and multi-day training sessions. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to work around your needs. I have innovative, interactive lessons that help attendees stay engaged and leave with an enhanced set of professional communication skills. I am looking to expand my professional experience in both training and teaching. Looking forward to new opportunities while stay loyal to my roots.
