About Nikki Senthilkumar

I’m a first generation San José State University alumna with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Human Systems Integration. I chose this path because I’ve always been fascinated by people, what motivates them, what challenges them, and how the right support system can help them thrive. I knew early on I wanted to build a career that focuses on people. Throughout college, I balanced academics, family responsibilities, and part-time work, an experience that taught me discipline, empathy, and grit. I’ve gained hands-on experience in research, data analysis, teamwork, and problem solving. I’m detail-oriented, reliable, and someone who brings calm and clarity to fast-paced environments. Whether working independently or with a team, I communicate clearly and show up with intention. Now, I’m excited to begin my career in Human Resources. I’m drawn to HR because it sits at the heart of any organization, connecting people to purpose and creating cultures where employees feel seen, supported, and valued. I want to help build workplaces that are inclusive, thoughtful, and rooted in growth, for both individuals and the company as a whole. I’m actively seeking full-time HR, recruiting, or people operations opportunities. I’m eager to keep learning, contribute meaningfully, and grow with a team that’s building something great.
