Experienced counsellor and case manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit sector with homeless and street-involved youth, women and children escaping domestic violence, addictions and mental health. Skilled in individual and group work, crisis management, communication, case management, working within a team, community outreach, advocacy, system navigation, program development, financial management, working with the most vulnerable, marginalized and oppressed individuals. Uses an eclectic approach that is strength-based, client-centered, anti-oppressive, trauma informed and culturally aware and comes from a place of harm reduction. Strong working professional with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health Counselling, and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
