I am a techie that likes doing business. I like the combination of closing a deal and deep technical knowledge. I am constantly trying to learn new skills and get them in practice. I am a hard working person that hates failures. I am easy going and also trying to enjoy life. Most of the positions I had during the past years has required a combined set of deep technical skills and sales. I can both speak the language of business to C-level and the techie language. 20 years ago I started to work at a startup company in the IT business and that was a really good school. I have been doing anything from negation terms with our bank, sales manager, marketing manager to do business development and been the CFO. Our business evolved and transformed to an value added distributor for security products (Check-Point, Raptor Systems, Axent, RSA etc). I have now been working with IT-Security for the past 15 years and been doing most of the tasks around it-security. In my current position as Senior Solution Architect, HP Enterprise Security (TippingPoint, ArcSight and Fortify) I work with technical sales/Pre-Sales throughout Nordics & Baltics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Iceland). I am responsible for training and enablement of resellers/distributors/, enable/develop/maintain the HP organization, creating awareness around security and security issues, proof of concepts, answering RFI/RFP, product/feature presentations and sales forecasting together with the sales team. My technical skills includes; Implementing IPS/firewalls/SIEM, strong user authentication, encryption solutions, system hardening, been instructor for different training courses (firewalls, web-application security, penetration testing), consultant working with penetration testing, web-application testing, developing and implementing security solutions for the Swedish defense, forensics and expert witness at the Swedish court.
