As a student assistant at the Fraunhofer IGD I have the chance to do research on modern mixed reality technologies like Microsoft HoloLens 2. To create a feeling of immersion as full as possible is a fascinating challenge that has to be mastered. Studying can be just as challenging. In our university group at the TU Darmstadt, the Akamu e.V, we are working - as a team of students - to change this. With the help of an app we want to drive bulimic learning out of the students' everyday life and try to teach them the learning content in a playful way. As the Android developer of the organization I can prove my programming skills and constantly improve them. In order to gain some distance from all the software development and the coding, I am always happy to help with the organization of our adventure camp. As a teamer I take care of a group of children and teenagers for one week. A week without internet, social media, appointments and in the middle of nature!
