About Niklas Koch

As a dedicated Program Manager in the metal fabrication industry, I thrive at the intersection of innovation and precision. With over 7 years of both full and part-time experience, I have successfully led diverse projects from concept to completion, ensuring that every detail aligns with client specifications and industry standards. I am currently in the process of getting my Master's degree in Business Analytics from Anderson University (SC), with plans to graduate in December 2025. My educational journey started at Clemson University where I earned a B.S in Industrial Engineering. My journey with Sargent Metal began in the summer of 2018 as an intern working with the Engineering team, learning the basic operations of the company. I would then return the following summers in 2019 and 2020 helping the Engineering team with tasks such as time studies, quick quoting, and programming, igniting my passion for the field and provided me with invaluable insights into the intricacies of fabrication processes and project management. Upon graduation from Clemson, I returned to Sargent Metal in June of 2021 with a full-time position as a Process Engineer on the Engineering and Manufacturing team. In this role, I managed all productivity spreadsheets, tracking production numbers on a weekly basis, tracking job flow on a daily basis and ensuring each process is optimized to its full potential while constantly seeking the next improvement. Evolving within Sargent Metal, I transitioned to a Project/Program Manager role in the fall of 2022, where I oversee and manage the execution of a variety of projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that we meet our clients’ needs while adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. I leverage my strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to anticipate challenges and deliver results that exceed expectations.
