Background
About Niklas Larsson
I have been working as a photographer since 1997. Other than the usual newspaper- and photo agency assignments that I've done over the years I have visited appr 40 countries around the world covering major sporting events such as three Olympic Games, two FIFA World Cups, UEFA European Cup and other world championships in various sports. After 2.5 years at Sundsvalls Tidning I moved to Gothenburg for a permanent position at the photo agency Bildbyrån. One of the two founders of photo agency Exponera in Gothenburg. Based in LA, NY and Geneva, where I worked as a stringer for AP, AFP, Keystone, Swedish and Norwegian press. Has also worked at the newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Dagens Industri and the photo agency Scanpix. I am since 2012 part-owner, CEO and photographer at the Swedish Sports Photo agency Bildbyrån. I have been awarded prizes in the Swedish Picture Of The Year, POYi, BOP (NPPA), SFND and won the 2009 Scanpix Grand Photo Award for the picture story "Mikael Unlimited".
