About Niklas Rogers

I graduated from the University of California, San Diego and got a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Computation and a minor in Philosophy. Through my experience of working in a brain computer interface lab and creating MATLAB programs, I became more and more interested in the power of data which has driven me to my current position as a Business Data Analyst. I started working at 101domain Inc. right after college as a Domain Service Specialist where I managed the fulfillment and continuity of web domains. I soon realized how to improve business operations and team management with data analysis. By tackling issues and providing data driven solutions, I eventually earned the title of Data Analyst which involved using excel and other programs to create data reports on employees. These reports assist in managing workloads, optimizing workers' efficiency, and allowed us to monitor how employees are progressing over time. After successfully increasing the value and efficiency of employees in the Support department, it was later determined that I should be involved in all departments and focus on the business as a whole. From this I was promoted to Business Data Analyst where I use Tableau, Looker Studio, and Power BI for business intelligence, evaluate the success of campaigns and projects, use data models to evaluate processes and business value, and help managers by providing information and business insights.
