About Niko Valvimo

As a dedicated professional, I hold a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Lapland and an MSc. in Engineering from UAS Technikum Wien. My career has given me a strong mix of technical and business skills, developed through practical work. At Outokumpu, I worked as a Production Shift Foreman and Production Technician, where I developed a keen understanding of production processes and team management. Currently, I am a Business Process Expert at Stora Enso, where I work in Supply Chain & Digitalization area in various projects, while taking part of developing and improving data reporting services, AI tools and an internal ERP system, but also holding different trainings, writing specifications, and supporting end users. My expertise extends to data analytics, data modeling and integrations and databases, with proficiency in Snowflake, DBT, Oracle PL/SQL, Copilot Studio and Power BI. Additionally, I work with the development team to build data models and later visualize these in PowerBI for end users. I am passionate about continuous improvement and professional development. I am fluent in English, German, and Finnish, with some conversational skills in Hungarian and Swedish. I thrive in international environments and am adept at building cross-cultural connections. Known for my friendly, social, and easy-going nature, I am always ready to tackle challenging projects.
