About Nikolai Chernikov

I didn't immediately understand which profession was most suited to me. I worked in metalworking for over eight years and eventually realized there was no room for further development, even though I really wanted to.Initially, I aspired to pursue back-end development, but during my studies, I realized it was reminiscent of my previous job - interesting, yet primarily a craft. I also wanted a research component, and that's how I came to Data Science. When I first understood the world of data analysis and machine learning during the early stages of my studies, I knew it was for me.Having completed the courses and accumulated several hundred hours of practical experience, I can confidently say that my choice was the right one. Data Science and ML remain challenging for me, but because of this, they are also very interesting - I love the speed of development in the AI ​​industry, the huge contribution it is already making to our daily lives, and I want to be a part of it.My diverse experience gives me a practical advantage- from metalworking - personal responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail- From content management: understanding processes in IT companies and the ability to improve workflows- From L2 support: the ability to search for and analyze error information, communicate with development teams, and view problems from multiple perspectives.I'm interested in both technical support roles (L2/L3) and Data Analyst / Data Scientist / ML specialist positions - and a combination of these.
