5 years experienced backend developer, mostly in fintech. Interacted with a wide range of languages, frameworks, DBMSes, tools, thanks to working on completely different projects in different areas/companies. I prefer working on infrastructure of the development process rather than implementing some business things like "make endpoint, save model to DB, repeat". I like diving into a problem, spending time on finding the best and most elegant solution, to provide other people pleasing experience. A bit of a perfectionist (maybe not a bit). I’m really inspired by Kotlin and don't know why people still use Java. I like the simplicity, flexibility and "magic" of the language. And same with tasks and solutions — I enjoy decomposing things into small pieces, disassembling the big problem into smaller ones. I’m into abstractions, in layering my code step by step, to make it reusable, testable, flexible. Sometimes I go too far with it to the point when it’s redundant and makes things even more complex (yes still have things to work on). I like to write documentation and guides (and people say I do it really well), describing every step and providing examples to make people be able to just read and use it (or easily understand what’s going on). With high ability to learn I have no problem with using new frameworks/tools/approaches. Ready to take initiative, to mentor/help my colleagues. Have good communication skills so able to work with people of different personalities. Experienced in task assessment, planning and decomposition. Readability and quality of code is more important than the time and bytes spent on it.
