About Nikolas Griffith

For more than ten years, Nik has assisted leaders in dozens of industries in translating public policy into successful business strategy and public sentiment in and outside of Montana. Early opportunity allowed him to work with Governor Brian Schweitzer's administration, learning the structure and diverse functions of Montana state government. He then spent three years working with film and television productions as the Montana Film Office location scout and then PR manager, overseeing advertising and communications for events like the Sundance, Los Angeles, and Cannes film festivals. Departing for the private sector, Nik led public involvement efforts for one of Montana's premiere transportation firms. His tenure with them saw him lead a statewide survey effort in support of the Montana Department of Transportation's long-range planning. Moving up to Strategies 360, a leading bipartisan government affairs and public relations firm, he worked with a diverse portfolio of clients in health care, transportation, telecommunications, public relations, and coalition development. Key victories during his time with Strategies included passage of Montana's Six Mill Levy to support public higher education by historic margins; successfully updating Montana's math and science graduation requirements to include computer science; and adding Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist representatives to the Montana Board of Behavioral Health. Back at home at the intersection of public policy and health care administration, Nik now provides guidance and strategies to mitigate risk to patients and staff and ensure an environment of continuous improvement in care.
