Cloud Engineer with strong quantitative skills and a PhD in Physics. My expertise spans data analysis, cloud infrastructure, and IoT systems design, showcasing a versatile technical skill set across multiple domains.During my earlier career, I performed a data analysis that combined with a clinical study led to improved sound quality of a hearing instrument product platform and contributed to increased sales. Additionally, I took on managerial responsibilities as the product owner for a team focused on enhancing sound quality and audiological benefits for Sonova hearing instruments. This role gave me valuable experience in agile planning, scrum methodologies, and cross-functional team coordination.More recently, as an IoT analyst at Mettler Toledo, I also co-architected an IoT-based automatic ordering system using LoraWAN, RabbitMQ, and SignalR, deploying it on a Kubernetes cluster on Azure with Terraform. This microservices-based system tracks hundreds of orders daily through a custom-built real-time dashboard.I proposed and implemented a CI/CD pipeline and Terraform-controlled cloud infrastructure for an AI-powered Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solution. The solution, based on a containerized architecture on Azure, is now live and available globally at Mettler Toledo.
