About Nikolas Psevdos

I’m the Governance & Compliance Lead (GAIRC), part of Support Services for MacKillop Family Services, where I help build systems that support ethical decision-making, manage risk, and strengthen organisational resilience. What drives me is MacKillop’s mission, supporting children, young people, and families who’ve experienced trauma. I care deeply about creating safe, transparent, and inclusive environments where people can thrive, and I bring that mindset into everything I do. My role spans governance, compliance, records management, and AI integration, all with a focus on making processes smarter, clearer, and more aligned with our values. I’m always looking for ways to improve how we work, communicate, and stay accountable. Before stepping into the world of governance, I worked as a property consultant, developer, and department manager for a market-leading real estate agency. That experience taught me how to think on my feet, solve problems creatively, and simplify complex processes through logical, pragmatic thinking, skills I still rely on every day. I hold a Social Science degree, majoring in Psychology and Statistical Analysis, which gives me a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour and data-driven decision-making. Proudly Greek Australian, I bring a culturally diverse perspective to my work and relationships. Outside of work, I’m a loving husband and obsessed father of twin toddler daughters. I’m a self-proclaimed DIY project expert (with varying degrees of success) and a movie buff who’s always up for a good story, whether it’s on screen or in real life. On weekends, you’ll find me spending time with my family, walking our dog Kosmo, and enjoying Melbourne’s café lifestyle.
