About Nilanjana Das

Nilanjana Das brings 13 years of experience in practicing and advising a wide range of civil societies and Companies on CSR, in their project management and development initiatives. She has developed and implemented several projects across urban and rural India. Her strengths lies in program development, project management, building capacities, building partnerships, networking, impact measurement and sustainability. She has been organizing trainings and workshops for the civil societies. She has been a trainer to the civil societies and the banks on the various development aspects. Nilanjana holds a postgraduate degree in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Services, Ranchi. Nilanjana Das presently runs an initiative called ACT. After working for ten years of learning and practical experience which gave her an understanding and insight into her field, and her strong desire to contribute meaningfully to this sector, she plunged doing something independently and fuel her own sense of entrepreneurship. Thus she gave birth to an organization called “Action Center For Transformation”( ACT) Action Center for Transformation is an entrepreneurial initiative to bring a positive change by implementing innovative ideas and by taking a well thought out initiatives in the community. Presently the organization is working on enhancing education and information system and creating rural women entrepreneurship in rural and urban poor areas. Apart from spending a lot of time with the women and children from the underprivileged section and motivating them to carve a path for themselves, Nilanjana is a motivator, trainer and a manager. Her passion also lies in travelling and photography.
