About Nilay Sharma

I am a Security Analyst with hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and network security. Starting my journey with a BSc (Hons) in Digital Forensics & Cyber Security from London Metropolitan University, I built a strong foundation in digital forensics, ethical hacking, and penetration testing methodologies. Currently working at Programming.com, I began as a Network Trainee and progressed to a Security Analyst, where I focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in web, mobile, and internal applications. I have supported developers and security teams by providing actionable pentest reports, aligning ISMS policies with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and conducting security awareness training to strengthen organizational security culture. With my ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credential, along with exposure to a wide range of tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, SQLmap, Hydra, Autopsy, and FTK, I bring both technical depth and practical problem-solving skills to every project. I am passionate about offensive security, exploit research, and continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
