About Niloy Som

Hi, I'm Niloy Kumar Som - a graduate of the College of Arts, New Delhi, and a creative professional who's been in advertising for over 20 years. Safe to say, I’ve seen - and survived - it all. From the classic “make the logo bigger” to the ever-elusive “something’s missing,” I’ve learned to navigate the nuances of this business. My journey began with sketching diagrams for my classmates’ practical files, and somewhere along the way, I found myself making films for some of the biggest clients around. Creativity has always been at the core of what I do. Though I come from an art background, writing ad films truly excites me. Give me a script to crack, and I’m in my zone. That’s why you’ll find a few in my folio. Beyond that, I thrive on ideation - thinking, shaping, executing ideas. Not just for the sake of doing something, but because I genuinely enjoy the process. So that’s me, in a nutshell. Hope you enjoy the resume! Intermediate
