I work for the Veteran Health Care Administration. The United States Government. I have delivered over hours of direct patient care to patients in the Western North Carolina Community. My professionalism, teamwork and superiority in patient care demonstrates safe and competent professional practice. I take my responsibilities seriously, stay up to date on the latest evidence and based practice, demonstrate effective communication skills, demonstrate patient centered care and advocate for patients and residents. I enjoy positive interactions with other staff members and can be a willing resource for others. Before joining the Federal Government, I worked for Mission Health for 11 years, gaining skills, including managing a plumbing business, along with working in the BMW group in helping in delivering technology that now produced vehicles such as the X5 and Z4. I was lucky enough to work with amazing clients along the way through various connections. I am truly passionate about all of my work and always eager to connect with others. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite part of my work is now working with veterans who deserve so much respect. Not only do I enjoy bedside care, I also enjoy finding ways to get patients to their desired outcome, while keeping them safe and providing them with an exceptional experience. I have an Associate in Arts Degree from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and carry a Nursing Assistant License in the state of North Carolina. I serve on a Board of Directors as well, in which I help ensure 600 kids receive a once in a lifetime experience. I am glad to work for a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology. I have over 20 years of customer service experience.
