About Nils Eckerdal

With over seven years of experience in teaching and researching statistics, I am eager to share my expertise with others while also learning from them in all projects I work on. My core competencies include experimental design, causal inference and survival analysis. In my current role, I teach courses on topics such as casual inference, probability theory, and also provide statistical consultation to thesis students. I enjoy expressing difficult statistical concepts to people with different backgrounds and levels of expertise, and I always strive to make my teaching engaging, relevant and tailored to the students at hand. I also continue to publish papers on experimental design and applied statistics, co-authoring with colleagues from different disciplines and institutions. I have developed skills in R and LaTex, and I have used them to conduct and present data analysis, simulation, and visualization. I am always eager to learn new methods and tools, and I seek opportunities to collaborate with other researchers and practitioners.
