The condensed phase dynamics group studies transformations of solvated and condensed matter by employing a wide range of ultrafast state-of-the-art techniques. A core activity focuses on ultrafast X-ray science and Infrared to THz spectroscopy to probe materials dynamics and collective excitations on femtosecond time scales with atomic specificity. We have in-depth knowledge in lasers, nonlinear optics, high-resolution light microscopy, and ultrafast science from the infrared to hard x-rays with experience in molecular physics, physical chemistry and biochemical applications.
