About Nils Rek

I’m a Senior Data Scientist for People Analytics at Siemens, where I apply my background in Psychology and Neuroscience to derive meaningful insights that support both employees and the organization. I earned my PhD at the Max-Planck-Institute of Psychiatry, focusing on the relationship between inflammation and depression, and I’ve also had the privilege of supporting research at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve published 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at various national and international conferences. Alongside my current role, I also enjoy consulting and leading workshops in the field. I’m dedicated to using data to inform strategic decisions and enhance workplace culture.
