About Nimisha Kottarapat

Former production designer and team lead in the Projects Division at R+R Cabinets, where I was involved in private, residential and commercial projects. This role fostered my ability to think strategically, conduct design research, develop tactical solutions, and achieve both collaborative and independent outcomes. As a graduate in Interior Architecture from the University of South Australia, my design philosophy has always been centered around creating dynamic, engaging spaces with innovative concepts. By leveraging my creative and artistic skills, I have consistently worked to bring exciting and inspiring environments to life through my design ideas. My expertise includes design and colour consultation, spatial planning, producing 2D and 3D drawings using CabMaster Software, model making, project documentation, and a strong capacity to interpret and understand various design drawings. During my time at university, I specialized in residential, commercial, and retail design, focusing on research, space planning, 3D modelling, material selection, and design documentation. I also developed the ability to present my work effectively to both peers and clients. I am always eager to learn and explore new, innovative design solutions, drawing inspiration from my experiences in workspace design, strategic planning, multifunctional spaces, and hospitality.
