About Nina Bianca Ramirez

As a kid, I have always set my eye on being in a creative industry. I grew up around a lot of creative people, and have had my fair share of experiences in being in art and design competitions - some I won, and all I had fun with. This drove me to take up a degree in Industrial Design. However, life had other plans for me and led me to a more business and customer-oriented industry. It was not an easy feat as my previous training was a bit far from where I am, but with my competitive nature, drive to succeed, and little exposure to running a family business, I strove to be better in what I do. To achieve that, I have been aggressively exposing myself to a lot of projects and business processes. Along the way, I am confident that I have gained a number of valuable skills, not only in the current industry I am in, but in a lot more. In my almost 5 years of being in a highly competitive and high-pressure industry, as well as my involvement in multiple business units, I have: 1) Gained skills and experiences in customer service and relations, sales, project management, procurement, product and business development, and market/competitor research and analysis. 2) Became knowledgeable in logistics, data analytics, and day-to-day business operations. 3) Sharpened my eye to details to meet exactly what the clients and the business needs. 4) Developed a more flexible, collaborative, and confident nature to both be able to cater better to our market and foster good working relationships with internal and external partners. In my free time, I make sure to explore a lot more things to nurture not just my career, but also my personal life. I read up on a lot of different things, and try out different hobbies. I believe that the key to becoming better in one aspect, is to have balance in both.
