I have been a registered psychologist since 1981 and I teach in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at OISE/University of Toronto in Canada. I am passionate about CBT and helping mental health professionals and students learn how to effectively practice CBT. I have taught CBT workshops all over the world. I wrote CBT Made Simple as everywhere I went counselors asked for practical advice and examples of how to do CBT therapy. In CBT Made Simple I explain basic CBT theory and interventions with lots of case examples and sample dialogues, plus in each chapter I have exercises so you can practice doing CBT before using it with your clients.
