About Nina Sutton

I have been working in the field of disability for 25 years, and have had the opportunity to be involved in different projects and fulfil different supervision and management roles. I also worked in conjunction with La Trobe University to provide the practicum component of the Graduate Diploma in Orientation and Mobility. I went on to participate in writing the course for a Certificate IV in Orientation and Mobility. While I trained in education and working with people with a vision impairment, my work is now with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. My objectives are to improve knowledge and understanding of the absolute necessity of ABA therapy for children with an ASD. I have been working with our clients on understanding the NDIS and how it will increase the potential for families to access effective evidence based therapies for their children. I manage a team of professionals and work closely with other service providers and educators to ensure the best outcome for all of our clients.
