I began my career as programmer in a prominent Chinese bank; at that time, my programming work focused on OLTP. Therefore, indispensable expertise such as Data Modeling, SQL were already under my belt. Later on, I also worked in both incorporate and individual business sectors for quite some time. Such experiences enriched my spectrum of my career. Today, I’m in the position of team leader of IT team, which is in the charge of IT infrastructure maintenance, as well as internal / external reporting tasks. My workload might have varied in different periods of my career; but my passion for data processing persists all along the time. Over the years, I devoted much spare time into a broad range of pragmatic skills, namely advanced Excel formulas, VBA, SQL Server stack (T-sql of SSMS, MDX/Tabular of SSAS), DAX/M-language of Power BI, Python (esp. numpy/Pandas) etc. The bundle of skills works like a charm, dramatically expanded my capacity and increased performance in my job; meanwhile, my work experiences in business sector help sharpen my ability to translate business data insight.
