About Ninu Gill

With more than 25 years of experience in External and Internal Communications (Media, Public and Government Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications) in the public and private sector, as well as the agency side, I have spent more than 15 years at a senior leadership level, advising executive and leading teams of diverse, capable professionals in multi-faceted, relationship-oriented, and integrity-focused organizations on communications initiatives. I’ve developed and revised my skills in the creation and implementation of media and communications strategies with strong content, using various internal and external communications media. I have regularly managed media relations opportunities, and, conversely, crisis communications in order to both promote and protect. Additionally, I have worked with many external suppliers and partners to maximize mutual goals and budgets. For many years, I have enjoyed working on executive teams, but I have especially enjoyed leading and collaborating with teams of diverse communications and media relations professionals to advance various strategic objectives. The scope of my responsibilities have included regional, national and global coverage. Having worked at one of the largest full-service professional services firms in Canada and the world, I have a broad base of industry and sector experience enabling me to bring a unique perspective to the table. On a personal note, I love the outdoors, art, food, wine, keeping active and interacting with people. I also greatly enjoy travelling. I am also a past board director of Ocean Wise.
