A Chartered Accountant (All India Rank Holder), Company Secretary and an MBA. Recognized as Best CFO for Indonesia for 2022 by SWA Group. With more than 15 years of work experience in Multi National Companies as well as Family owned businesses in Indonesia, India and Malaysia, I have learned a little bit about Business, Strategy and Finance. Currently, CFO for Pt Matahari Department Stores Tbk overseeing Finance, IT, Logistics, Investor Relations, Procurement, Risk Management and Internal Audit, for the business- Experience in Retail, F&B, FMCG and Automobile Sector- Have led roles in various aspects of finance; in a career with quick job rotations coupled with stability within the organization. Roles included controllership, planning and strategy, manufacturing finance, taxation, risk management and sales accounting- Other than Finance, have experience of leading Commercial teams, Supply Chain, procurement as well as New Business Development. Played a key role in getting and onboarding 4 new brands for a Retail business- Led M&A transaction (sale of 2K refinish paints business by ICI Paints to PPG Industries)- Played key role in raising funds for the business- Led the project to reduce working capital for ICI paints - from positive to negative- Mentored / Coached large and geographically spread team with proven ability to develop internal bench. One of my proudest achievements has been to have lowest attrition in team for 3 years in a row.
