Responsible for planning and coordination of aircraft spare parts requirement to support all scheduled, non-scheduled maintenance activity in Nepali Army Aviation. Continuously evaluate the existing engineering resources & system to identify areas of improvement in Nepali Army Aviation. Engage cross functionally work with finance department for purchasing, repair, and contract management of aircraft. Review all other materials requisitions & take necessary action with coordination from aviation technical store. Provide assistance to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) team to clear AOG demands by determining if required AOG parts are available on aviation technical store or not. Identify alternate and/or interchangeable part numbers based on airframe / engine manufacturers approved technical documentation so as to ensure the correctness of data and to avoid duplication of inventory 7. Report & control shortages of spare parts through written note to higher authority. Coordinate with engineering department, engineering planning, aircraft maintenance and associated workshops to resolve queries related to aircraft parts. Manage spare parts/ component forecasts and ensure parts availability for scheduled component removals. For the designated fleet type or supply chain area of responsibility, maintain and adequate inventory at all times to ensure uninterrupted service and completion of scheduled and planned maintenance activity. Continually monitor aircraft technical defects on the Nepali Army aircraft from Electrical Instrument and Radio (EIR) side in MI-17 and Lama Helicopters. Be in regular contact with supply chain manager for necessary spare parts. Staff Officer at MINUSCA mission (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic) in the TCU (Technical Compliance Unit)(Aviation Department) from 25 March, 2018 till 25 March 2019. Perform other department as directed by the Head of the Department. Excellent knowledge of Computers and an advanced user of MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience reporting on Marketing Data. Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Qualification from Indian Air Force.
