As a Junior Project Fellow at IIT Guwahati, I immersed myself in the fascinating realm of drone-based applications intertwined with AI and IoT, igniting my passion for computer vision. Leveraging the power of Raspberry Pi and ESP32 camera modules, I validated outputs with precision and efficiency, contributing significantly to projects aimed at technological advancement. During my deep learning and computer vision internship, I delved into a project titled "Age and Gender Prediction Using Convolutional Neural Network," where I employed PyTorch and Python to construct and train a robust CNN model. This experience not only enhanced my expertise in deep learning and computer vision but also sharpened my problem-solving and teamwork abilities through collaboration with industry professionals. In my role as a Junior Project Fellow, I played a pivotal role in the "Development of a Wireless Power Transmission System (WPTS) for powering insect-scale Micro Air Vehicles," seamlessly integrating real-time object detection and classification using YOLOv5 and a Keras-based gender classification system. This multifaceted project showcased my versatility in combining cutting-edge technologies for impactful solutions. One of my significant achievements includes co-authoring a paper titled "Random Forest Regression for Predicting the Radiation Pattern of a Planar Metasurface Reflector Antenna," where we focused on training and validating the prediction of 3D field distribution of antenna radiation patterns using innovative data analysis techniques. Our rigorous approach resulted in a notable experimental error reduction of 10% to 15%. During my tenure at Cognifyz Technologies as a machine learning intern, I undertook diverse tasks such as building a predictive model for restaurant ratings, crafting a personalized restaurant recommendation system, and conducting insightful geographical analysis on extensive restaurant datasets. I am driven by a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex challenges. I am eager to explore new opportunities where I can contribute my skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact.
