About Nirandi Amarasinghe

I am a skilled Agile practitioner with strong focus on process improvements and product developments. With my previous experience in product marketing and brand management, I combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise. As a Facilitator and Tester/Developer at Volvo Cars, I currently contribute to the verification and validation process towards Volvo Cars infotainment system. I excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. My passion for problem-solving and attention to detail enable me to identify and address potential issues proactively. My academic background in agile project management, product marketing and business management fuels my results-oriented approach. I'm a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning, bringing positive and energetic attitude to the team. I began my career as a trainee brand/product manager at Abans PLC, a giant electronics and mobile trading company in Sri Lanka. Collaborated with the brand team to build the product range and managed all operational marketing activities. In 2015, I was given the sole responsibility of building a particular brand from the ground up, managing the OPPO brand, a Chinese consumer electronics brand, and overseeing over 500 branches all over the country. By the end of 2017, I had achieved the highest sales quantity target for the brand in the country. Outside of work, I express my passion through cooking, baking and sharing my culinary artistry on social media.
