Prof.(Dr.) Niranjan Nayak is the Director of Indian Institute For Production Management (IIPM), & IIPM-School of Management, Kansbahal, an Institute of international repute promoted by ICICI, L&T, SAIL, Usha-Martin and Govt. of Odisha. He has more than 30 years of diverse experience in different aspects of management, academic administration, institution builder and change agent, teaching, training, consultancy, research and development. His key strength is in the area of banking, finance and insurance. He is the first person in India to get Ph.D. in Bancassurance. Seven Awards have been bestowed on him consecutively by different national and International bodies for his real time leadership. Recently, he has received the award for Eminent Educationists by Indo-Global Education Summit held at New Delhi on 19th November 2013. He has also received the most prestigious “Life Time Achievement Award” in the field of educational planning and administration at 33rd World Environment Congress held at New Delhi on 5th & 6th June 2013 by International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP), an organization supported by United Nations – UNESCO, UNICEF. Discovery Education Media Pvt. Limited conferred to Dr. Nayak as “Best Director Award (Eastern India)” in recognition of his success and excellence in the field of management education on 21st January 2013 held at New Delhi. International Institute for Education & Management, New Delhi on 23rd Feb. 2013 conferred him “Eminent Educationist of India Award” for Educational Excellence in the field of Management. He has received another two prestigious awards “Rajiv Gandhi Educational Excellence Award” & “Rashtriya Vidya Gourav Gold Medal Award” by Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi for outstanding achievement in the field of education. He is the Convenor of three consecutive prestigious International Seminars and four International Management Development Programs (MDPs).
