With 18+ years of experience in City Gas Distribution sector, I lead the Technical function at Gujarat Gas Ltd - a GSPC group company, India’s largest city gas distribution company. My portfolio includes Planning & Design, Projects, Operations and Maintenance, Emergency handling, QA/QC, Metering, QA/QC and RoU function of the geographical area. My mission is to deliver the activities as follows: Planning & Design: To effectively plan and manage pipeline design activities so as to deliver gas to every possible areas of geographical area to every possible and potential customer without pressure drop. Optimise use of GIS, Synergi Gas software. Projects: To deliver business goals of the organisation of particular geographical area within set timeline and planned budget. CAPEX budget plan & monitoring. Ensure entire project life cycle is maintained as planned. O&M/ Emergency operations: To ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the customers and ensure preventive maintenance should be implemented 100% as planned. OPEX Budget and monitoring. Implement actions to optimise OPEX. Metering: To accurately measure every molecule of gas being purchased and sold in the geographical area and to maintain all the measuring instruments within acceptable accuracy range. To ensure Line loss (LUAG) to be maintained within set limits. QA/QC: To ensure quality of materials being procured by the organisation or by the contractors are as per the set specifications. RoU: To ensure all the required permissions for Project execution are received on time by effective liaising with the various authorities. Audit: To ensure all the planned audits are completed with minimum observations. Well versed with ArcGIS, Synergi gas, Pipeline Studio, SAP, AutoCad viewer, process improvement, technical services, MIS, MS office.
