About Nishith Kumar Patel

I am a plant-based,specially soya food entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in soybean processing, product development, and soy food fortification. My work bridges grassroots innovation in India with global expertise from the USA, where I have collaborated with leading organizations like the American Soybean Association, United Soybean Export Council (USSEC), and North Dakota Soybean Association. Over the years, I’ve developed a wide range of soya-based food and wellness products, including soya milk, tofu, vegan ice creams, meat analogues, gluten-free premixes, pet foods, and personal care items. Currently, I advise and lead multiple soya-based ventures as Consultant (Akshar Industries, Divy’s Soya), Technical Director (CG Soya Products Pvt. Ltd.), and Director (Lingraj Dairy Processing Pvt. Ltd.). I also serve as Founder & Principal Advisor of the Indo Soya Food Association (ISFA), and recently established the Indo Soya Foods Training & Research Institute—India’s first dedicated center for soya food innovation and entrepreneurship. My mission is to promote sustainable, affordable, high-protein solutions for India's future—and to position India as a global leader in soy-based technologies.
