About Nithin Katla

During my tenure as a Specialist Programmer at Infosys, I contributed to Apple Maps as a Full Stack Engineer, building in Apps related to big data systems. I led the architecture and development of analytics dashboards, implementing new features in a tool designed for data monitoring, ingestion, and visualization. Throughout this role, I worked on projects utilizing technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Spark, ReactJS, Django, and GraphQL. I am proficient in developing Android/iOS applications, web development using the MERN stack, and implementing Hadoop architecture for big data systems. I am passionate about programming and always strive to find better approaches for given problems. This passion has been with me since my school days, driving me to learn evolving technologies and create useful projects. Currently, I am pursuing my master's at Stony Brook University in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science and Engineering. I have been delving deep into deep learning and systems courses during my time at SBU. Presently, I am searching for a Summer 2024 internship in any of these - Software Engineering, Data Science, or Data Engineering positions. I am a fast learner and can quickly adapt to projects.
