I live to watch movies, drink, eat (mutton delicacies) and party. My work is just a way to sustain it! Die hard Delhi boy, I did my grad from DU and promptly started wandering purposelessly, much to the disappointment of my mother, who, for long, had nurtured the great Indian dream of seeing her son a Dr./Engineer/Lawyer/Officer. Got into jobs early, worked as an employee for about 9 years before the E-bug bit circa 2009. Started writing as a freelancer and did random gigs for about 8 months before starting with a content writing venture of my own. While writing was going steady, powered by a formal training in transcription/editing and a decade-long on-off experience in the industry, started my second venture: voice-to-text transcription and editing using an army of freelancers across India & Africa. In next 4 years expanded the portfolio with peripheral services such as: regional and foreign language translation and transcription, transcreation, research summaries, academic writing, copywriting and marketing pitches. Today we are an end-to-end service provider in transcription (seminars/interviews/market research/court sessions/deposition/legal/general/medical/academic/video); content writing (PRs/reviews/journal/essay/thesis/proposal/assignment/quiz/eBook/scripts/proofreading) and translation (regional languages/foreign languages/text-to-text/transcreaation/summary) In 2014 forayed into training and public speaking with a couple of mid-term engagements and hoping to take it to new heights. I've always loved being busy yet be the master of my time. To me that is THE most exciting aspect of my role as an entrepreneur: busy with loads of new ideas yet always free to do whatever I want. Notwithstanding the fact that a lot of our services are marketing-driven, most of our work comes through word of mouth referencing. Work with a lot of ex-colleagues and friends today! I'm not sure I've earned Mother's approval just yet but I'm working on it.
