About Nitin Dadhwal

As a shelter support worker at City of Ottawa, I provide assistance and guidance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. I work with a diverse and vulnerable population, applying my skills in security, problem solving, and computer hardware to ensure their safety and well-being. I also collaborate with other service providers and community partners to connect them with the resources and supports they need. I have been working as a security guard at GardaWorld since April 2022, where I perform patrol, access control, and emergency response duties at various sites and events. I have over two years of experience in the security industry, and I have completed multiple training and certification programs. I graduated from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology with a diploma of education in computer systems networking and telecommunications in December 2023. I have a strong interest and knowledge in computer systems, networking, and technology, and I enjoy learning new skills and tools. I am passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in the community. I am a reliable, compassionate, and adaptable professional who values teamwork, integrity, and respect.
