Nitin has more than 17 years of professional experience in structural and geotechnical design of projects spread across highways, railways, bridges, tunnels, utilities, buildings (residential, commercial and Industrial) and water sectors across various regions like the UK, USA, Australia, Middle East and India. He is a very passionate and enthusiastic structural engineer having a thorough understanding of structural, geotechnical and civil engineering concepts and overtime has developed as a general civil structural engineer with capability honed to adapt working on any kind of structural engineering project in general. Throughout his career Nitin has had substantial experience in design, coordination and detailing of structures delivered right from concept through to construction stages involving in-depth understanding of complex engineering problems by working across diverse sectors involving multi-disciplinary projects. Recently he has led teams of structural engineers and BIM modellers on various transport infrastructure projects like the West Gate Tunnel in Australia including SEPA Detailed and Final Design stage Level Crossing Removal project at Merinda Park Station. Responsibilities also include preparing work-hour and cost estimates, progress reports, resource scheduling and ensuring quality control to best practices and company procedures.
